From Photography to Contemporary Visual Arts

The Xposure International Photography Festival launched Gallery X at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in 2021 as a permanent international photography gallery and a year-round space connecting audiences with photographers and visual creatives

Gallery X presents rotating exhibitions by Emirati, Arab and international photographers, alongside workshops and educational programmes that encourage learning, skills development and the exchange of expertise. Since its launch, it has showcased works by renowned names including Steve McCurry, Stephen Wilkes, Muhammed Muheisen, Francesco Zizola and Anthony Lamb

From one exhibition to the next, themes and visual approaches range from people and nature to culture and contemporary issues, keeping Gallery X a dynamic space for discovering photography and the stories it can tell
