Legendary Saudi Singer Mohammed Abdu, the Artist of Arabs, to Perform at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah

The Mohammed Abdu concert is a series of immensely popular public performances by legendary Arab and international singers and artists that Al Majaz Amphitheatre has been hosting as part of Sharjah’s efforts to promote a culture of music and fine arts in the Emirate, emphasised Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of Sharjah Media Centre (SMC). “From Arab singers Majida El Roumi and Kadhim Al Sahir to Marcel Khalife and Western singers like Yanni and Julio Iglesias, Al Majaz Amphitheatre has hosted some of the biggest names in music from the East and West to entertain music lovers in Sharjah and the UAE,” said Allay.

Al Majaz Amphitheatre 

Al Majaz Amphitheatre was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in 2014 as part of the celebrations crowning Sharjah as the Islamic Culture Capital for 2014. The Roman colosseum-style Amphitheatre opened with the premiere of epic oratorio Clusters of Light, retracing the remarkable journey of Islam and its essential message of peace and humanity.  Al Majaz Amphitheatre has since hosted a galaxy of Arab and International artists.
